Business Models

One of the powerful features within Net•Yield is the ability to create and "export" a new set of databases based on the default settings, tables, and business transactions of the current or live Net•Yield. This is primarily used in two situations:

1. To set up your actual company based on a demo company template, as provided during installation or from the empty Net•Yield default setting and tables. By doing so, you can start off with most of the standard defaults and settings as provided by the demo company, supplemented by any additional settings made while working with the demo.

2. To "clone" your company default settings, tables, and/or transactions to use as the basis for additional Net•Yield installations. For instance, if your organization had a number of independently operated companies, but you wanted the software in each company to have the same underlying system default settings and tables, you would use "Create Business Models" to create your own business templates to use to create the new Net•Yield company information.
